To set the default building type

  1. Click the Defaults Manager icon.

    The Defaults Manager dialog box opens.

  2. Click the Application button.
  3. In the Buildings panel , expand the ASHRAE – Buildings sub–panel, and select the 2010 ASHRAE buildings catalog.

    2010 building types can now be selected from the Type drop-down list.

    Note: The ASHRAE Buildings sub-panel is highlighted and expanded because ASHRAE was selected as the default calculation standard in the Regional panel.

  4. (Optional) You can set CIBSE building defaults at this time for projects that require the CIBSE calculation standard.
  5. Click OK to complete the defaults setup.
